Obituary for Blase M. Zampetti
Blase M. Zampetti, 55, of Neptune, NJ, died Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at his home. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Blase lived in Woodbridge before moving to Neptune over 20 years ago. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing and was a lifelong Mets and Raiders fan. Despite the many challenges he faced, he always enjoyed meeting new people and engaging in conversation. He frequented the Headliner, where he considered the staff and patrons his friends.
Blase was predeceased by his father Blaise J. Zampetti, Jr in 2019. Surviving is his mother Filomena Zampetti, his sister and brother-in law, Gina and Ben Ruela and his nephew Joseph Ruela. Visitation will be Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 6-9 pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall, NJ. Funeral service will be at 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
