Obituary for Brian W. Subers

Brian W. Subers, 60, of Wall, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2019, at home surrounded by his family, after a courageous eight-year battle with a brain tumor. Brian was born in Upper Darby, PA, to the late George and Joan Subers. Brian was a graduate of Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren Township, NJ where he was an active member of various sports teams and admired by all of his peers. Brian furthered his education at Fairleigh Dickinson University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Brian met his beloved wife, Carolyn, and they lived in Tinton Falls, NJ as well as Ogden, Utah before moving to Wall 25 years ago. Brian worked as an account executive for Hewlett Packard in New York City where he excelled as a mentor to coworkers and was respected for his dedication to his company. Brian was an avid sports fan of the NJ Devils, NY Yankees and NY Jets. He coached basketball, soccer, and South Wall Little League for his son, and was a #1 dance Dad attending numerous recitals of his daughters.
Brian’s greatest joy was his family. They were everything to him, especially his three children and his wife. Brian had an infectious personality with the ability to light up every room. He was hard working, devoted, loyal, and conveyed happiness to all. He touched the lives of countless family, friends, and co-workers. Brian Subers was one of a kind and will be missed dearly.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, George and Joan Subers. Survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Carolyn Subers, and his three children, Dan, Emily, and Megan Subers. Brian is also survived by his two brothers, Doug and Craig Subers, his sister Cindy Slahetka, his mother-inlaw Eileen Conticchio and many extended family and friends.
Visiting will be Sunday, December 15, 2019, from 10AM until 2PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Funeral Service will be Sunday, 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
