Obituary for Carl P Imbriano

Carl Peter Imbriano passed away at home on July 27. Carl was predeceased by the absolute love of his life, Marie, whom he prayed about each day for their blessed reunion. Carl is also predeceased by all of his siblings, who he always spoke about with love and admiration. Carl is survived by his daughters, son in laws and grandchildren, whom he loved so dearly and who made his face light up when around him: Carla, Chuck, Elena, Toni, Harry, Christina, Nicole, Vincent and Jenna. Carl is also survived by his sister in law, Nancy and brother in law, Steve and sister in law Carol, and their families, all of whom he loved dearly and remained bonded with until the end. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and dear friends, especially Pete and Louise and Dianna. Carl was a devout Roman Catholic who lived a life of deep faith and devotion. He also was a respected public servant, first serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Carl then joined the finest as a New York City Police Officer and lastly as a U.S. Marshal. His passion to help others was always evident, whether it was his donations to his favorite charities or his warm smile to a neighbor. Carl also had so many interests; he loved his Delray Beach apartment where he spent so many happy years with Marie. He loved to cook, research everything and anything for everyone, play pool, sing, work on cars, do home renovations and pick up stray dogs to make them part of our Brooklyn childhood memories. Carl will be profoundly missed by his family and his friends, but we know he is where he wanted to be, right beside the love of his life, Marie, and surrounded by angels.

Viewing will be private. Funeral mass will be on Saturday, August 5th at 9:00 am at St. Catherine’s Church in Spring Lake.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel To Towers,  https://t2t.org/donate/.
