Catherine Giachetta, 93, of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on March 1, 2022.  She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She worked many years in New York City for a City Marshall's office. It was a job she was proud of and really enjoyed. Catherine loved spending time with her family, cooking, playing Rummikub, traveling (especially to Italy), cruises and dancing. She truly loved life!

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis Giachetta; her parents Rose and Thomas Celone and her brother Dominick Celone.

Catherine is survived by her sister, Josephine Vicari; her children, Michael Caserta (Linda), Robert Caserta (Tonisha), Joseph Caserta (Margaret) and Deborah Calcagno (Robert); step-children JoAnn Buck (Paul), Denise Ryan (Rich), AnnMarie Clark (David) and Kenneth Giachetta (Liz). Catherine is the cherished grandmother to Michael, Corinne, Lori, Jodie, Robert, Thomas, Kemar, Jacqueline, Nicole, Danielle, Michele, Kenneth, Christopher, Matthew, Amanda, Rachel, John, Francesca and Christine. She has many great-grandchildren who she loved dearly.

A visitation for Catherine will be held at O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35, Wall, NJ on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 406 Forman Ave. Point Pleasant Beach.
