Obituary for Daniel J. Brancatella
Daniel J. Brancatella, 32, of Neptune, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at his home.
Daniel was born in Secaucus. He was raised in Jamesburg and had also lived in Bayonne before moving to Neptune a year ago. He was a graduate of Monroe Township High School and had attended Rutgers University. In his youth he enjoyed playing all sports, particularly baseball and soccer. He was employed by SGS, in Carteret, for over 10 years, in oil and gas testing.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Jane Foley, of Belmar, and Bruno Brancatella, of Florida. Also surviving are his brothers, Michael and Jake Brancatella, his paternal grandmother, Rosa Brancatella, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Anne Foley, and by his paternal grandfather, Joseph Brancatella.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral Mass, which will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 424 Lincoln Avenue, Avon, on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 11 AM.
