David George Frey, 56, of Howell Township, N.J., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 24, 2022.

David was born on July 29, 1965 in Montgomery County, PA. He was raised in the Allenwood section of Wall Township, residing there for most of his life before moving to Howell 19 years ago. David was a graduate of Wall High School. He attended Johnson & Wales University, RI, and graduated from Monmouth College.

David was a self-employed Financial Advisor operating Frey Financial for many years. He was a member of the Manasquan Elks Lodge # 2534, and a member of Harrigan’s Pub Dart League. He also coached his daughters through many years of soccer, and was everyone’s personal chef.

Predeceased by his parents Walter H. and Camille G. (nee Cordone) Frey. Surviving to mourn this tremendous loss is his devoted wife of 25 years Carole (nee Magid) Frey and their cherished daughters, Emma Gene and Hana Rae. David is also survived by his brother, Gary Frey, and sister-in-law, Laura, and their children John and Danny; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Tina Magid; his sisters-in-law and their spouses: Lisa and Alan Lessner, and their children Rebekah and Harrison; Deborah and Hymie Kubie, and their children Philip, Alex, and Julia; Eileen and Adam Lipsky, and their children Benjamin and Jack. Also left to cherish his memory are his many, many friends that he maintained lifelong friendships with from his youthful days in Wall Township.

The Frey family will receive friends on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall Twp., N.J., 07719, between 11:00am and 2:00pm. At 1:00pm, Emma & Hana will begin the celebration by paying tribute to their dad. For those of you who are unable to attend in person, pleae join us via the ZOOM link.
