Debra Ann Buruchian, 65, of Belmar, formerly of Cliffside Park, entered into eternal rest on September 10, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Jersey City to parents Ronald and Mary Ann.  Debra had a brilliant mind, a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit.  She launched her career as CEO for ATX Telecommunications, finishing her esteemed career as co-founder and creator of the family-owned business, The Scone Pony Bake Shoppe.

Debra was always first to lend a helping hand or sympathetic ear; her generous spirit was unmatched. She also loved the beach, gardening, interior design, painting, and travel.

However, her greatest love and joy was her daughter Mia Lynn and beloved family, whom she loved and cherished. Debra will be remembered as a kind, beautiful, loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her father Ronald Buruchian. Surviving is her husband Michael Poley of Belmar; daughter Mia Lynn Poley of Belmar; mother Mary Ann Buruchian of Belmar; sister Tara Conaton and her husband, John of Wall; brother Ronald Buruchian and his partner, Joy Bodnar of Wall; and her beloved puppies, Mama and Baby.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her honor on Thursday, September 15, 10:30am at St. Rose Catholic Church in Belmar. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Judes Children’s Research Foundation.
