Dennis Joseph Neigh, 73, of Brick, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Ocean Medical Center.

Born in Montclair, Dennis resided in Bloomfield, NJ; Arizona and Florida prior to settling in Brick.  He honorably served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1969-1972, attaining the rank of Sgt.  He then went to college where he earned his degree and began working as a respiratory therapist. He was employed with Columbus Hospital in Newark for many years.  Dennis was very active in Living Faith Bible Church in Brick, where he developed many close friendships. Dennis enjoyed helping at his church and will be remembered for loving fresh vegetables, going to farms, long car rides, going to the beach and visiting Costa Rica.

Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Violet “Pat” (Hansen) Neigh and his sister, Cindy; he is survived by his wife, Martha (Vargas) Neigh; his children, Maria E. Rees and Sandra P. DeVico; his siblings, Susan and Patty; his nieces and nephews, Karla, Chris and Matt, and Anthony and Alissa; as well as many extended family and friends.

Viewing will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dennis’ memory to Wounded Warrior Project.
