Obituary for Diane E. Daily

Diane E. Daily, age 65, of Brick passed away on January 11, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Diane was born in Trenton, New Jersey but has been a Brick resident since 1965.

Her fondest childhood memories were of her cross country adventures with her parents. This shaped her love for walking the beach and becoming a self-proclaimed “Shell Seeker.” Diane was a graduate of Brick Township High School, class of 1976. She was a proud cheerleader and fondly remembered her days cruising in her yellow Firebird with closest high school friends.

Shortly after highschool, Diane married her first husband of thirty years, Tim, and began raising her family. She dedicated her life to her four children: attending sporting events, introducing them to faith, embarking on annual family trips to St. Augustine, FL. She was happiest preparing a home cooked meal and sitting around the dinner table with her children. Diane was known for her big heart, contagious smile, and unwavering love for her family. She often spoke fondly of her four children and their accomplishments into adulthood.

In recent years, Diane enjoyed working at the garden center of Ace Hardware in Wall Township where she shared her passion for planting flowers and gardening. One of Diane’s proudest accomplishments has been finding her strength and renewing her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was lucky enough to find love again with her adoring husband, Don. Together they filled their household with love for one another and their four legged children Molly, Buddy and Mokey. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her five sweet grandsons.

Diane is predeceased by her father Edmund Mason. She is survived by her mother and best friend Elizabeth Mason, husband Donald Daily, children, Timothy Puglisi (wife Ashley), Starrlyn Henrich (husband Ryan), Erik Puglisi (partner Meghan Burns), Bradley Puglisi (wife Caitlin), brother Edmund Mason, Jr. (wife Rosemary), sister Margaret Bazylewsky (husband Ihor), and her five cherished grandchildren, Blake, Brayden, Leo, Brody and Noah Puglisi.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 16th from 4-7pm with a funeral service at 6:30pm at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, NJ. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, January 17th at 10am at Fellowship Chapel, 170 Duchess Lane, Brick, NJ
