Obituary for Dominick Colarusso
Dominick Colarusso 77 of Wall Township, NJ died Monday, April 19, 2021 at Sunnyside Manor, Wall. Born in Newark, NJ, Dominick lived in Belleville, NJ before moving to Wall in 1970. Dominick worked as a food broker with Pezrow in Ramsey, NJ. He was a life member of the Glendola Fire Company and a social member of the Unexcelled Fire Company, Neptune, NJ, and an exempt member of the Wall Township and NJ Fireman’s Association. He was also a member of the Manasquan Elks and a member of the A.M.A. Numismatist Association, as well as a parishioner of St. Rose Church, Belmar, NJ.
Dominick was predeceased by his parents Louis and Virginia Colarusso and his sister MaryAnn Pickles. Surviving is his beloved wife of 53 years Elizabeth McGrath Colarusso, 3 sons, Donald Colarusso, Scott Colarusso, Michael Colarusso, 3 grandchildren, Veronica, Gregory and Amanda, a brother Roger Colarusso and his wife MaryAnn and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 2-6pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A fireman’s service will be at 5pm during the visitation. Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 23, 2021, 12pm at St. Rose Church, 603 7th Ave., Belmar. Committal will follow in St. Anne Cemetery, Wall.
