Obituary for Edward W. McGuirk
Edward W. McGuirk, 85, passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2020 after a long illness. Born in Orange, New Jersey Mr. McGuirk moved to Spring Lake Heights in 1969 after enjoying many summers spent at the Jersey Shore.
A veteran of the United States Army, Edward worked for over thirty years at Western Electric in Union, New Jersey, and ended his career
retiring from Fort Monmouth in late 1999.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years JoAnn (nee Mitchell) McGuirk, his dear daughter and son-in-law Ailene McGuirk and Matthew Shoemaker, and his cherished granddaughters Grace and Siobhán.
Edward was pre-deceased by his parents Edward and Katherine McGuirk.
