Eileen

Flint
(Russell)
Eileen Flint passed from this life on August 18, 2022. She was born to William and Dorothy Russell in Queens, NY. She graduated from St. Luke’s Parochial School in Whitestone and then Bayside High School in Bayside, Queens where she lived. Once graduating from Bayside High, she was offered a position as a Page to the Partners at J.P. Morgan. She would often say working at J.P. Morgan was the best college education she could have ever experienced. They had a tremendous respect for their employees and were always looking for ways to help them move up the ladder of success. During the ten years she was employed there she rose from her job as a Page to Executive Secretary to Lewis T. Preston, Chairman of The Board. After she left, he went on to become Chairman of the World Bank.
She was married to Raymond Flint in 1964 and left the Bank to have her first child in 1966. She is survived by her three girls, who she dearly loved. Tracy Friedman and her husband, Bret, Melissa Earle and her husband, Rob and Corey Flint and her husband. William Wardell. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Hunter, Eylee, Madeline, Eloise, Robert Earle and Jack Friedman. All very dear to her heart.
She and her husband, Ray and her three girls moved to Colts Neck in 1972. She loved living in Monmouth County. She was very involved in the Martha Mary Group at St. Mary’s RC Church in Colts Neck and Father Bausch always knew where to find her when he has a request. She was also very involved in the evening division of the Colts Necks Women’s Club, and the Phalanx Auxillary of Family and Children’s Services.
She loved and spoke often of her tennis and paddle friends, Brookie, Sue, Mary, Roseanne and of course Jimmy Connors. Most of all she loved her girls and their children. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. She especially loved playing scrabble and monopoly with her grandchildren. Eileen loved chocolate.
As she wished, all funeral services were private.
Her only request was to remember the wonderful times and good friends.
