Emery James Chiszar, 59 of West Belmar, Wall Twp. passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune after an acute illness.

Emery was born in Perth Amboy to the late Alfred and Florence (nee Giordani) Chiszar, raised in Woodbridge, and had resided in Red Bank before moving to Wall Twp. in 2006.

Emery was a proud graduate of the University of Florida, “Go Gators” and went on to a successful career in Corporate Recruiting most recently at METtel  in NY & Holmdel at the time of his passing.

He was a devout member of the Catholic faith, he and his wife were active in St. Catharine – St. Margaret’s Parish, Spring Lake. He served as a Sacristan and Eucharistic Minister at the Parish as well.

Emery loved his dogs, he and his wife raised three boxers during their marriage.  He adored his two daughter but he joke that his dog were his boys.

Predeceased by his parents and his brother David, Emery is survived by his devoted wife of 16 years Yanira (nee Martinez) Chiszar, his 2 beloved daughters Grace and Dianna Chiszar, both at home, his siblings Natalie, Daniel, and Alfred Chiszar, and his nieces and nephews Adam, Laine, Sam, and Taylor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, June 18th 2022 at 10:30am in St. Catharine’s Church, 215 Essex Ave., Spring Lake. Please go directly to the Church on Saturday as there will not be a procession from the funeral home.
