Obituary for Gloria Alexander (Fargo)
Gloria J. Alexander, 91 of Sea Girt, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 12, 2021.
Born in Jersey City to the late Joseph and Angelina Fargo, she had resided in Sea Girt for almost 50 years before moving to Tinton Falls several years ago. As a Sea Girt resident, she was a Communicant of St. Mark’s Church.
Predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Richard J. Alexander Sr. in July of 2013, she is survived by her devoted children and their spouses: Gloria J. and husband Raymond J. Harter Jr of Sea Girt; Richard J. Alexander Jr and wife Joanne of Naples, FL; Mark A. Alexander and wife Kathleen of Blauvelt, NY; Denis J. Alexander and wife Mary-Lou of Dallas, TX; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation for immediate family only, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 8:30am to 9:30am at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall, NJ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Leo the Great Church, 50 Hurley’s Lane, Lincroft, NJ 07738. The mass will be live-streamed and is available by visiting the following link: https://youtu.be/98SwTtV2yBY. Entombment in St. Catharine’s Church, Sea Girt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (ALZ.org).
