Obituary for Hazel McNally (Law)
Hazel Law McNally, 82 of Spring Lake, NJ passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in Spring Lake, NJ.
Hazel was born in Englewood and raised in Haworth, NJ. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in education and taught elementary school until having children of her own. Hazel met George McNally at the Jersey Shore and they married on October 2, 1965. As the wife of a rising corporate CEO, Hazel was a real trooper, raising three children and caring for her family while bouncing from Belgium, West Virginia and back to New Jersey. Hazel particularly loved living in Belgium with George and her children and cherished the friends made there.
Hazel loved to travel, whether it was across the country with friends or around the world with family. She enjoyed tennis, golf and working out with her dear personal trainers in New Jersey and Sailfish Point, Florida. Hazel’s dogs were a big source of joy to her over the years. In addition, she was an avid and proficient shopper and was particularly fond of Short Hills Mall.
Hazel was predeceased by her husband George, her parents Hazel Hendricks Law and Edgar Fuller Law and her brothers Edgar, Jim, John, and Peter Law. She is survived by her brother Tom Law and sisters Charlotte Law and Bezzie Woodson; her children Kathleen McNally Ricchetti and her husband Jeff, John McNally and his wife Allison, and Steve McNally; and her four cherished grandchildren Brendan and Matthew McNally and Tommy and Emma Ricchetti. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews and members of the extended Law and Campbell families.
