Ida (nee DeMunno) Wass, 91 of Wall Twp. passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Jersey Shore Univ. Medical Center, Neptune.

Ida was born and raised in Newark, NJ to the late Frank and Lena (nee Lambusta) DeMunno. She had lived in Basking Ridge for many years before moving to Wall Twp. 7 years ago.

Ida was a graduate of Seton Hall University in 1993. She was an award-winning realtor and very successfully ran Ida Wass Realty in Union for many years. She was a Communicant of St. James Parish, basking Ridge and was a very active member of the Somerset County Democratic Club.  

Ida was predeceased by her parents, her husband Adam Wass in 1993, and her sisters Anne Libby and Belle Brett.

Surviving are her devoted children, Deborah Wass of Wall Twp. with whom she lived, Brian Wass and wife Janice of Wall Twp., and Mark Wass of Chester, NJ, her grandson Andrew Wass and his wife, Cassandra, and Thomas Sartor and his wife, Kelly and great grandchildren Sophia Wass, Owen, and Logan. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall followed by a Funeral Service on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
