Jane Patricia Hall, 83, of Brick passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Hall worked for 20 years as a high school mathematics teacher at St. Agnes High School in College Point, NY before retiring twenty years ago. She earned her undergraduate and Master’s Degrees from St. Joseph’s College for Women in Brooklyn, NY. She also was an educational volunteer at Lakewood High School and a member of the Bridge Club and Quilting Club within the Four Seasons Community.
Born in Brooklyn, NY she grew up in South Ozone Park, Queens, NY and raised her family in Woodhaven, NY while summering at Pocono Farms in Tobyhanna, PA before moving to Four Seasons 20 years ago.
Jane was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Hall in 1987; and by her grandson, Jesse. Surviving are 2 sons, Thomas Hall and his wife, Julia Brenna-Hall of Freehold and Stephen Hall of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Anne Marie Hall of Harrisburg, PA; sister, Susan Buquicchio of Manorville, NY; 8 grandchildren, Kate, Jacqueline, Matthew, Thomas IV, Elizabeth, Gabrielle, Krystal and Charlie; as well as 3 great grandchildren.
Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10am on Wednesday at St. Dominic’s RC Church, Brick. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI, NY.
