Jeanne Marie Harrison, 92, of Bay Head passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 17, 2023.  Jeanne was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother, and family meant everything to her. She was a devout Catholic and communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in Bay Head.  She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society at Sacred Heart and the Women’s Republican Club of Bay Head. 

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she lived in Millburn and Springfield for many years before moving to Bay Head 24 years ago.

Jeanne was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, William “Bill” Harrison in 2016; parents, James and May O’Brien; brother, Raymond O’Brien in 1989; and her sister, Dorothy Hoffmann in 2021.  Surviving are her daughters, Diane J. Covello and her husband, Joseph, of Bay Head, and Patty A. Steinberg and her husband, Richard, of Basking Ridge; as well as her grandchildren, Patrick, Haleigh, Colleen and Joseph.

A memorial visitation will be on Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 1-4pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick.  A memorial Mass will be offered 10am on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Sacred Heart RC Church, 751 Main Avenue, Bay Head.  Burial of her cremated remains will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seeing Eye, Inc.
