Joan A. Eggert, 73, of Brick passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Care One at Wall. Mrs. Eggert was a clerk in the Hamilton Township Tax Assessors Department for many years before retiring in 2004. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother of six. She was a member of the Manasquan Elks Lodge # 2534.
Born and raised in Trenton, she lived in Hamilton Township for many years before moving to Brick in 2003.
Joan was predeceased by her father, Andrew Reha; and by her mother, Josephine Reha. Surviving is her husband of 50 years, H. William Eggert; son, William A. Eggert and his wife, Maura of Granville, OH; sisters, Kathleen Pesci and her husband, Dennis of Levittown, PA and Susan Torlay of Lawrenceville; six grandchildren, Colin, Braden, Haley, Payton, Sydney and Nolan; as well as her niece, Christine DiJardins and her husband, Ian and their two children and nephew, Joseph Pesci and his wife, Tammy all of Fairless Hills, PA.
