Obituary for John T. "Tom" Kulpinski

John T. “Tom” Kulpinski, 72, of Brick and formerly of Point Pleasant passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Mr. Kulpinski was a circuit board technician at Bell Laboratories in Holmdel for over 42 years before retiring in 2010. He was a loving husband, dedicated father and adored grandfather. Tom loved being a baseball coach to his sons, fishing, and being by the Inlet. He also enjoyed watching the NY Mets and Lakewood Blue Claws baseball games. Most of all, he loved spending quality time with his family.
Mr. Kulpinski was predeceased by his parents, John and Evelyn; brothers, Stephen, Raymond, Roger, and his sister Diane. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Carol Ann (Wnetkowski) Kulpinski; sons Thomas J. Kulpinski and his wife Kelly of Wall, Scott M. Kulpinski and his wife, Vanessa of Toms River; daughter, Cindi L. McClelland and her husband, Jamie of Howell; and 6 grandchildren, Laine, Kade, Morgan, Sean, TJ and Jake.
He will be sorely missed by all and will remain in our hearts forever. Rest easy John, for you have earned your wings.
Visiting will be on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be conducted 10am on Tuesday in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
