Our memories of John Shotka were all fond ones. He was a gentle giant. He
was generous , kind and giving. He was the epitome of a gentlemen and
exemplified the true meaning of what it meant to be a Christian. John was
always there to give a hand when you needed help. We loved him and
cherished the friendship we had with him and his wife Judy. You're the
best there is John. You'll truly be missed, but will always be part of the good
things we remember. Thanks for being our friend and allowing us to
be part of your life. We Love You.

Grumpy, words cannot express the immense pain we feel with you not here! Today seems completely unreal! A piece of my heart is gone! You were truly by far the worlds most amazing grandfather!!!! You taught me most of everything I know!!!! From sliding down the banister, rolling down a hill, feeding the ducks, and going to magic fountain every Tuesday for ice cream! I am who I am because of you! Though the days will be hard we shall take comfort in knowing you will no longer suffer! Rest In Peace Grumpy! Until I see you again, I will always be your navy girl, your boobah!!! I love you!!! 💔😥
