Dear Joe - Gone from us much too soon. A sparkling wit and the most natural of God's granted talents I've ever seen. A true Capricorn. The struggle is quieted now. Your burden is handed to God's grace. His love enfolds you now. My peace to you; peace achieved. I will miss you. Love, Uncle Mike

How to say goodbye to such a unique man. A man as flawed as he was loving. A man so kind to others at his own detriment. My heart goes out to the family left behind by the void of his loss. My heart also goes out to his acquired family. Nina lost her confidante, friend, guardian, chauffeur, source of comedic relief and the only father she has ever known. Dana lost her rock, her anchor, the love of her life. For Joe, and all of those that grieve his early departure from this life, I offer my most heartfelt and sincere sympathy. I also feel the deep loss of a loyal friend and a magnetic personality that few can match. Rest In Peace Joe.

I still can’t believe you’re gone...I first and foremost want to express my deepest sympathies to his family, Monica, John, Jimmy and Christa and the rest of the Henderson clan. It is you who he loved and you who will grieve him the hardest. There are too many memories to share that bring me happiness but right now are the hardest things to think of. Just as easily as he could drive you crazy he could have you rolling with laughter. His ability to make you laugh and his sense of humor was among his greatest qualities. We had a lot of jokes (even when you were making fun of me) and a lot of love between us and a great friendship after... You somehow convinced me to like The Doors (which was no small task) and you did a lot of wonderful things that will leave a mark on me and this world and who you came in contact with. I will miss you more than will ever get to know. So I will continue to look for you in the signs... rest easy 💔

I am still in shock over this sudden loss. Dana & Nina, my heart breaks for you. You 2 & Joe were the perfect little family. I love you and I know you are both strong enough to continue to make him proud. We will keep Joe's memory alive and he will smile down on both of you. RIP Joe.
