Dear Rick,
Hope this reaches you ... Judy and I were good friends in the mid-1980's. I hope you remember. me.
When Judy and I became friends, I was working as an associate at Chadwick and Whaley (1st at 5 N. Adams St, Rockville, MD; later at a different location in Rockville). Judy was working as a legal secretary for Wade Gallagher; you were in law school and working as a law clerk with Judy and Wade. Judy and I would spend lots of time talking, as well as going to Happy Hours and meals after work. Stephen was about 4 years old. We went to Virginia Beach and Hunter Mtn, NY (ski trip--she didn't ski so she mainly hung out in the ski lodge). I visited y'all at the townhouse in Germantown and attended your wedding. Unfortunately, we lost touch. I went on to work for (and become a partner) in a small law firm in Takoma Park doing municipal, family, and estate planning. I retired in early 2019 after being diagnosed with (stage 4) lung cancer.
I'm sorry I lost touch with Judy and am happy to hear you stayed married for 34+ years. I am saddened to learn of Judy's death at only age 66 and wish you sincere condolences.
