With his son Jason, wife Maureen and dog Freedom 5 by his side, Kevin Michael Phillips passed peacefully on April 7, 2023 after bravely facing cancer. Born July 2, 1951 in Hoboken, NJ, Kevin resided in Brick, NJ for most of his life. Kevin graduated Brick High School in 1969 and was an outstanding athlete in baseball and football making the All Shore First Team and All State Second Team. During his high school years, he also was a counselor at Camp Beadleston, Windward Beach, a camp for special needs children.

Kevin attended college in Nebraska and subsequently was owner operator of Kevin Phillips and Son Alterations and Remodeling. He took great pride in remodeling the 100-year-old farmhouse in which he lived.

In addition to his son Jason and wife Maureen, he is survived by his sisters, Maureen Wright, Patricia Buterbaugh (Barry Priestley), brother Roger, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and lifelong, closest friend Ron Caso.
