Obituary for Larry R. Bennett Sr.

Lawrence “Larry” R. Bennett, Sr., 56 of Farmingdale, passed away on February 25, 2021 in JSMC surrounded by the love of his family. Born and raised in Wall Twp., Larry loved working with his hands and tinkering on small engines. Larry enjoyed NASCAR, New Egypt Speedway and Wall Stadium and attended these events with his beloved father. During his life, Larry accomplished many things – from owning a stucco business, owner of small engine repair shop to building his own boat, he was a licensed captain and Certified EIFS Applicator in NJ. Even in death, Larry was a “fixer”. He donated his organs and helped provide others with the Gift of Life. Even in death he continues to help others by being an organ donor. A flag was raised in front of JSMC and was flown for 24 hours in his honor. This was Larry’s wish. Prayers to the recipients of his gifts in hopes that they can live a long and healthy life! But above all else, Larry loved his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and Pop Pop… his greatest source of joy was his grandson, Mason. Larry was always there when others needed help, his kindness and generosity was shared with everyone he knew him, and he will be missed beyond words. Larry was predeceased by his mother Anna in 1998. He is survived by his father Jack; his devoted wife of 25 years Kim; son Larry Jr. and daughter Kelly; grandson Mason; his brother John & wife Kathy and their sons John and Chris; his sister Judy Casey & husband Richard and their daughter Nicole; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The only thing Larry cannot fix is our broken hearts. RIP Larry.
