Obituary for Linda Hildebrandt (Apicelli)
Linda Hildebrandt nee Apicelli 68 of Neptune City, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Jersey Shore Univ. Medical Center, Neptune from complications of diabetes. She was a lover of animals, she rescued, fostered many during her life. She was also talented with drawing and sketching. Linda enjoyed attending fan events and meeting various celebrities she admired. Linda was a graduate of Avon Grammar School and St. Rose High School, Belmar, NJ.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Joseph Apicelli in 2017 and Olive in 2020. Surviving are her sister Mary Ann of Virginia, her brother Joseph Apicelli Jr. of Avon, sister-in-law Christina of Sea Girt, her nieces Christy and Suzanne of Virginia, Kaitlyn of Pt. Pleasant, Brianne and her husband Mario Troiano of Howell, NJ, a great niece Zoey as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. She also leaves her longtime companion of 37 years Joe Leo of Waretown, NJ.
Due to Covid restrictions, services will be private under the direction of the O’Brien Funeral Home, Wall. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Avon First Aid Squad P.O. Box 3 Avon, NJ 07717, Avon Fire Department P.O. Box 202 Avon, NJ 07717, Diabetes Association of America or the ASPCA.
