Obituary for Loretta Mae Bliesmann (Anderson)

Loretta Mae (Anderson) Bliesmann, 87 of Sea Girt passed away Saturday, February 20,2021 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune with her beloved husband at her bedside.

Born in Montclair, she resided in Spring Lake, then Herbertsville before moving to Sea Girt. As a resident of Sea Girt, she was a Communicant of St. Mark’s Church.

Loretta was very active throughout her life, both athletically and civilly. She had been a Majorette at Bloomfield High School, and went on to Seton Hall University. When her daughters were younger, she was a Class Mother in St. Catharine’s School, Spring Lake. Throughout her life she had been involved in many different careers, Loretta worked for Public Service in Newark, Realtor with the Mary Holder Agency, Sea Girt, an Office Administrator with Foodarama Supermarkets Inc, Freehold, and A Runway Model for Boscov’s Department Store.

She was a very competitive athlete her entire life, a longtime member of the Atlantic Club, as a competitive Paddle and Tennis Player, and avid Bridge player. She owned and rode horses her entire life. She Loved the Beach. She enjoyed being a member of the “Diner Dinner Club”, and “The Breakfast Club”.
Above all, Loretta loved being side by side with her Soul Mate of 70 Years. She took Great Pride in Loving and Caring for her Family.

She was predeceased by her daughter Rhonda Lynn Bliesmann in 1981, her parents, and her brother Ernest Anderson.

Surviving is her devoted husband; Robert A. Bliesmann, her beloved daughters and their spouses Randi Bliesmann-Perry and husband Richard A. Perry Jr. of Rumson, Carole and husband Keith W. Hannan of Colts Neck, her 5 grandchildren Katelynn, Kyle, and Christopher Hannan, and Rylee and Chace Perry.

In keeping with her family’s wishes a private Mass of Christian Burial and then interment in the family plot in St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt will be at the convenience of the family.
