Mary Frances Barbutti, 86, of Point Pleasant passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Crest Pointe Rehab and Healthcare Center in Point Pleasant. Mrs. Barbutti was the director of the Senior Beehive at St. Martha’s RC Church in Point Pleasant for over 25 years before retiring in 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Born in Englewood and raised in Edgewater, she moved to Point Pleasant in 1964.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Louis Barbutti in 1972; father, William Doyle and by her mother, Frances Doyle.
Surviving are her son, John Barbutti of Point Pleasant; daughters, Mary Hilton and her husband, Richard of Wall, Kathleen Ruane and her husband, Kevin of Point Pleasant, and Susan Forsyth and her husband, Timothy of Del Ray Beach, FL; sisters, Margaret Dalton of Towaco and Kathleen Lyndsay of Hamden, CT. She also leaves her grandchildren, Christopher, Steven and his wife, Corrine, Richard, John, Sarah, Casey, Jack, Lauren, Danielle and Joseph; as well as her great granddaughter, Hailey.
A Funeral Mass will be offered 11am on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Church of St. Martha, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant. Final interment will be held privately at the family’s convenience.
