Obituary for Maryann Catherine Hillyard (Mackiewicz)
Maryann Catherine Hillyard 65 of Spring Lake Hts., NJ died on August 13, 2019. Born in Newark, NJ Maryann lived in Kearny before moving to Spring Lake Hts., in 2004. Maryann worked as a secretary for the Newark Prosecutors Office until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake. She was a member of the Spring Lake Garden Club, the Spring Lake Ladies exercise group and a volunteer with the VNA at their store.
Maryann is survived by her husband of 22 years John E. Hillyard.
Visiting will be Wednesday, from 2-6 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, 9 AM at St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ. Donations may be made in her name to the American Kidney Fund 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
