Obituary for Maureen Ann Donovan (Huegel)
Maureen Ann Donovan, 65, of Manasquan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home. She was a loving wife and beloved aunt.
Maureen graduated from Manasquan High School and attended Brookdale College in Lincroft. She was a communicant of St. Denis RC Church in Manasquan. Born on the Jersey Shore, she lived in Belmar and Mapleshade before moving to Manasquan in 1982.
Predeceased by her husband, William Donovan in 2016; and by her mother, Helen Huegel and father, William Edson. Surviving are her brothers, Brian Huegel of NYC and Christopher Huegel of Wall; sister, Elizabeth Huegel of Roselle Park; nephews, William, Ryan and Daniel; and her beloved dog, Penny.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 9:30am on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at St. Denis RC Church in Manasquan.
Donations may be made in her name to the local chapter of the ASPCA.
