Obituary for Onofrio J. Saccente
Onofrio J. Saccente, 81, formerly Stamford, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Mr. Saccente was a pipe fitter at Lester Kiss & Company in Wood-Ridge before retiring in 200.
Born in Brooklyn, NY he grew up in Jersey City and lived in Stamford, NY for many years before coming to Howell a year ago.
Mr. Saccente was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Saccente in 2018; son, Onofrio, Saccente, Jr. in 2015; father, Onofrio Saccente; and mother Olga Brancato. Surviving are his daughter, Donna Milanowycz and her husband, David of Howell; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Saccente of Lake Placid, FL; step daughter, Barbarajean Zajac of Brooklyn, NY; brother, Joseph Saccente of Spring Hill, TN; sister, Rosalyn Ruskowski of Westchester, PA; 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Taylor, Gianna, Mia, Isabella, Johnathan and Steven; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Funeral Mass will be offered 10am on Saturday at St. William the Abbot RC Church, Howell. Final interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, a donation made is his name to St. William the Abbot RC Church, 2740 Lakewood Allenwood Rd., Howell, NJ 07731.
