Obituary for Patricia "Trisha" Skrapits
Patricia A. Skrapits, 47, of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ.
Patricia was born in Orange, NJ, and raised in West Orange, NJ. She graduated from West Orange High School and worked as a legal secretary for many years. Patricia was devoted to her family and beloved dogs, Bear and Shepherd. She enjoyed gardening and walking. Patricia was a fighter, who bravely battled illness for several years.
Patricia was predeceased by her father, Lajos Skrapits. She is survived by her mother, Maureen Skrapits of Spring Lake. Patricia is also survived by her life partner and soulmate, Anthony Brescia, and their son, Anthony Louis Brescia. Also, surviving are Patricia’s brother, Stephen Skrapits, and his partner, Lisa Creech, of Wall; brother, Dr. Martin Skrapits and Sloane Kirshen, of Randolph; cousin, Brendan Kovacs, and wife, Delia, of Ocean Township. Trisha will also be missed by her extended family.
Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, October 16, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35, Wall Township.
