Patricia (Stoll) Tumminia, 69, of Spring Lake Heights, passed away on Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Patricia was born January 16th, 1953 in Red Bank, NJ and had lived the past 28 years in Spring Lake Heights. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Tumminia and was predeceased by her parents, Phillip and Mary (Brannigan) Stoll of Freehold, NJ, and brother, Phillip Stoll Jr. of Howell. Patricia is survived by her cousins, Karen Miracola (Paul Nolon) and Bobby Slovenez (Rani) of Florida, Diane O’Neill of Holmdel, NJ; niece Christina Cournoyer (Russell Cournoyer) of Thompson, Connecticut, sister-in-law Susan (Tumminia) Haas (Steven Haas) of Blackstone, MA; step-daughter Leanne Tumminia of Lanoka Harbor; nephew James Haas of Rhode Island, niece Lisa Cournoyer (David Cournoyer), great nephews, nieces, and many loving friends.

Patricia was an executive secretary for Great Adventure and Birdsall Services Group, realtor for Weichert Real Estate, and more recently, a Caregiver Companion in her local area.

A passionate animal lover, Patricia spent her life rescuing and loving animals. From her numerous pets over the years to backyard squirrels, neighborhood animals, and rescues from the Popcorn Zoo, her heart was always devoted to caring for animals in need. She also had impressive talent with the creative arts and designed beautiful pieces for the home that were admired by many. Patricia was a kind and sensitive soul who was loved deeply by her husband, family, many friends, and those in her community. Her grit and perseverance to keep moving forward, even through the most difficult of times, has left a lasting impression on all those who loved her.

Visitation will take place at O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Wednesday, August 31st from 5:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m with a religious service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Popcorn Park Animal Refuge, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731.
