Patsy A. Conte, age 82, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022.  Patsy lived in Wall, NJ with his wife of 55 years, Mary Ann. Patsy was the middle of three brothers, Nicolas and Dominick. Patsy and his brothers are the sons of Clemente and Pietronilla Conte who emigrated from Torella Del Sannio, Italy. Patsy grew up in Jersey City, NJ and attended Holy Rosary grammar school and Dickinson High School.

Patsy had a career in construction for over 60 years. He also had a passion for traveling, art, music, and a natural talent for writing. Most of his writings reflected on his personal life experiences and how they were a constant reminder of God’s hand in every aspect of his life.

One of Patsy’s greatest pleasures was fishing with family and friends. The many trips on the ocean served as a get away from life’s stresses which he traded for “the one that got away.”

Patsy is survived by his wife Mary Ann; brother Dominick, niece Lisa, nephew Christopher, and the surviving family of his brother Nicholas.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July, 14, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Church, the corner of 3rd and Ludlow Aves, Spring Lake. Burial will be held on Friday, July 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
