Philip N. Della Pietro, 77, of Brick, NJ died Monday, February 13, 2023 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.

Born in South Amboy, NJ Philip lived in Wall Township before moving to Brick. He was a school teacher in Neptune for 35 years and was owner and operator of The Pool and Spa Doctor in Wall, NJ for over 50 years. He enjoyed his work (creating backyard paradises), taking yearly trips to Aruba and being at the beach.

Philip was predeceased by his parents, Sabato and Theresa Della Pietro and his son-in-law Scott Tave. Surviving are his children, Angelina Tave, Philip S. Della Pietro and his wife Elsie, his fiancé and loving partner, JoAnn Gordon, 5 grandchildren: Noah Philip Della Pietro, Nico Sabato Della Pietro, Jackson Stuart Tave, Mila Joan Tave and Celia Geraldine Tave. Philip also leaves his former wife and mother of their children, Geraldine Della Pietro.

Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2023 from 4-8pm with a memorial service at 7:30pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall, NJ. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Philip’s name to Wounded Warrior Project.
