Obituary for Raymond J Kuczmarski

Raymond J. Kuczmarski, 76, passed away at Kindred Hospital in Dover, NJ. He was from the Bayville section of Berkley Township, but he was currently residing in Jackson, NJ.

Born in Jersey City, Ray spent his childhood summers in Point Pleasant. He moved permanently to the shore in 1968, where he lived in Toms River until his retirement in 2000. He served in the New Jersey Air National Guard during the Korean Conflict, where he was a mechanic on the planes while he was stationed in France. He graduated from Seton Hall University, and pursed a career in finance. Ray retired in 2000 from the McGraw-Hill Corporation, Hightstown, as Director of Finance.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Jonathan Salkin, from Jackson, NJ, and their three children - Emily, Josh, and Katherine. He was an integral part of his grandchildren’s lives as he attended every baseball game, soccer game, basketball game, swim meet, dance recital, softball game, school book fair, and awards ceremony. In addition, he is survived by a son, Raymond Kuczmarski, his brother, Joseph Kuczmarski, from Brick, NJ, and his sister, Helen Urbanek, from NC. He also leaves behind many dear, lifetime friends.
