After a courageous battle with cancer, Head Chef, Raymond Hardy, 59, passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2022 at his home in Belmar, NJ. Born in Red Bank, NJ, Raymond was a lifelong resident of Monmouth County, NJ.  He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and an active member of the Manasquan VFW.  Raymond worked his entire career as a food service professional, most recently at the Boathouse Bar and Grill in Belmar as Head Chef.  Raymond is survived by his mother, Dorothy Beth Tewhill; his children: Ashley Hardy Stovall, Jennifer Hardy, Kenneth Hardy, Son in law Jamar Stovall, Daughter in law Nadirah McDowell; brother David Hardy (Brenda Jones); ex-wife Susan Williams; and grandchildren, Agianna Michelle Ebony Taylor, Darnell Raymond Stovall, Leilani Assunta Mary Stovall, Ny-Jaha McDowell; and his nephew Dyllon Hardy.  He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Hardy.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd.,Wall, NJ, 07719 from 2:00pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 3:30pm.
