Richard K. Carey, age 62 of Brick passed away on March 13, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.

He was born and raised in Queens, NY.

Richard proudly served in the United States Army. He worked as a bus driver for Pioneer Transportation for many years.

He is predeceased by his parents, Richard John Carey and Gelsomina Theresa Carey. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Ana Carey, beloved daughters, Samantha and Sabina Carey, brothers, Adam Carey, wife Alice, Owen Carey, wife Cynthia, sisters, Linda Goldman, husband Neal, Nancy Koch and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the American Legion Post #348, 822 Mantoloking Rd., Brick, NJ 08723 from 11am to 4pm with a military service to begin at 1pm. Cremation was private and under the direction of O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick.
