Linda and Aunt Dottie - I am so sad to hear of Ricky's passing. I looked up to him as a little girl and so wish I got to know him better as an adult. My deepest sympathies and love - Barbara Gall

Linda Kelly

There are many words that could describe Rick: Loving, caring, kind, generous, charitable, faithful, humble, adventurous, fun. But above all of these was one that truly represented him: Service. Rick was proud to serve his country in the Navy for four years, but for all of his 61 years, he served so much more. First, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, to whom he was ever faithful and whose love and care he showed to the world daily Second, his family, for whom he would do absolutely anything, day or night, without regard to himself. His love for his family was pure and complete and without judgement, and will remain in our hearts eternally, undiminished by distance or time. Finally, his fellow man. Friend or stranger, it didn't matter. Rick would help any person in need, selflessly and quietly. This is his legacy, his message to us. Be faithful. Love each other. Serve God, your family and your fellow man. Make the world a better place. Rick truly, truly did, especially for all of us. He will be loved and remembered forever. - Mom, Lindy, Thomas and Nick
