Rita Sadie Piscitello-Loudon, 96 of Fairway Mews, Spring Lake Heights and formerly of New York, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Sunnyside Manor, Wall.
Born in Boonton, she lived her early life in Jersey City and graduated from Lincoln High School. Her family moved to Boonton permanently and she commuted to New York for her career.
Rita was an executive in New York City, NY for many years. Her employment included the Spalding Ball company and most recently WR Grace where she met the love of her life Donald Loudon and married him at the age of 59. She joined him living in New York and spending weekends in Spring Lake Heights. They retired to Spring Lake Heights in 1982.
Rita was a proud graduate of Caldwell College, receiving her Bachelor's degree with honors in Business. She led a wonderful life as she and Donald traveled all over the world. She was very active. Walking the boardwalk, golfing, playing Bridge at Fairway Mews and swimming at the Atlantic Club were some of her pleasures. Her family was very important to her. Cooking and baking for holiday dinners. She was a devout member of the Catholic faith and was a dedicated parishioner of St. Catharine’s Parish, Spring Lake.
She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Mary Marasca Piscitello, and her 2 beloved brothers Archie and Francis Piscitello.
Surviving is her step-son Robin Loudon and his 2 sons Eli and Ethan of Seattle, Wa. and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 10:30am in St. Catharine’s Church, 215 Essex Ave., Spring Lake. Entombment St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties (FULFILL) 3300 Rt. 66, Neptune, NJ 07753 in memory of Rita.
