I had the pleasure of working with Robbie on the 20th avenue beach in Belmar. There was a time when being bold and forceful as a lifeguard was the method of getting the job done. Robbie didn't buy into that style and offered the patrons of the beach and kind smile and courteous requests about where and how to enjoy the beach safely. He always had a kind word to say to people and certainly made it a point to entertain the kids when ever possible. He up top now probably doing some stand up rowing between the stars.

My name is Renee Eldershaw and I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Bobby at Arthur Brisbane Child Treatment center. He was kind and caring to the children. I also knew Bobby from the Belmar Beach and his lifeguard days. We knew a lot of the same people. So, we would talk for hours about our Belmar memories. He was a great person and I am sadden by this news. I pray for God's grace and strength to get you through this difficult time.
