Obituary for Robert Edward Miller
Robert E. Miller 66, Of Manasquan, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18th, 2020.
Robert was born and raised in Elizabeth NJ, where he grew up in a hard-working Irish Catholic household with his parents, Joseph and Mary-Alyce Miller and his 3 brothers.
The family spent their summers on the Jersey shore where Robert gained his love for the beach and ocean. Robert was an avid swimmer and his favorite spot to be was the South end salt water pool in Spring Lake, New Jersey. He gained many friends there who also shared the same love of the beach. Robert relocated to the shore year round where he decided to raise his family.
He had a deep love for nature and lived a healthy lifestyle. Robert was a custom craftsmen and builder for over 40 years and took much pride in his work where he achieved a following throughout the local community.
Robert was also a devoted member of St. Catharine's Parish in Spring Lake. Most of all, a beloved and dedicated father to his two daughters Raquel of Point Pleasant, NJ and Chanel of Lake Tahoe, California as well as their Mother, Michele Miller. He is also survived by his 3 brothers, William, Joseph, and Gregory. Along with all surviving members of the Miller family, is the Matriarch, his loving mother Mary Alyce Miller, 92, who resides at the Chelsea Assisted Living.
He is loved by many nieces and nephews whom he shared many laughs and memories with over the years. He was certainly the favorite uncle! Robert leaves behind his very special pal Grover, the rescue cat.
