Obituary for Robert Joseph "Bob" O'Neill
Robert “Bob” Joseph O’Neill, 61, of Brick passed away suddenly on Monday, February 24, 2020. Mr. O’Neill was a self-employed real estate developer throughout New Jersey.
Born in New York City, he grew up in Jersey City and lived in Freehold before recently moving to Brick.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Bridget O’Neill; son, Armando Cervantes in 2006; and by his brother, Christopher O’Neill in 2005.
Surviving is his loving wife of 36 years, Carmen Taylor-O’Neill; daughter, Meghan Pamela O’Neill of NYC; sister, Pamela Elia of Galloway; mother-in-law, Elba Minski of Orlando, FL; 3 nieces, Natalie Schpiro and her husband, Alan, Tara Elia, and Irene Hernandez; nephew, Lionel Juarez; as well as his best friend, James Santomauro of Kearny.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 2-6pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be held 530pm in the funeral home.
Final interment will be conducted privately.
