Obituary for Rodney Henry Dobrzynski
Rodney Henry Dobrzynski, 71 of Spring Lake Heights and formerly of Wall Township for many years, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.
Rodney was born in Newark to the late Henry H. and Doris (nee Schaefer) Dobrzynski. He went on to graduate from Penn State University, and then enlisted into the US Army during the Vietnam War serving as a nurse in Hawaii.
He was an avid fisherman who loved living at the Jersey Shore. He was a dedicated primary caretaker for his parents and, after his father passed, left his career in nursing to live with his beloved mother until her passing.
The biggest love he had in his life were for his late parents, his brothers and their families.
Surviving are his three devoted brothers and their families, Allan of Belmar and his son Brian; Jeffrey of Sea Girt and his children Austin, Emma and Ian; and Gregg and his wife Michele of Tinton Falls and their children Vanessa and Tyler. Rodney had a special relationship with his nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 9:45 am at St. Rose Church, 603 7th Avenue, Belmar. Private entombment will follow.
