Obituary for Stanley W. Sawicki
Stanley W. Sawicki, age 88, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, Stanley has resided in Neptune City for over 50 years.
Mr. Sawicki proudly served in the United States Army. He worked as Supervisor for the Buildings and Grounds Department in Monmouth County for many years.
Stanley had a passion for landscaping and was happiest when he was tending to the gardens at his home.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan I. Sawicki in 2015.
Surviving are his loving children, David W. Sawicki and his wife, Gail, Steven E. Sawicki and his wife, JoAnne, Sharon L. Dreher and her husband, John, Mark A. Sawicki and his wife, Amy, and Christopher Sawicki. He also leaves his grandchildren, Jonathan, Melissa (David), Michael (Jessica), Scott (Kimberly), Brian (Marissa), Joshua, Jessica, Kyle, Zachary, Jennifer, and Jacob as well as his six great-grandchildren, Sofia Rose, Olivia Elodie, Justin Michael, Aurora Rose, Joshua David and Lucas Jay.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. with a funeral service being held at 4:30 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35, Wall, NJ. Cremation is private.
