Obituary for Stephen H. Mabil
Stephen H. Mabil, 79, of Neptune City passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. Mr. Mabil retired in 2002 as a quality control manager a Molecule Wire in Wall. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force.
Born and raised in the Bronx, he lived in Shrewsbury, Asbury Park and Point Pleasant before moving to Neptune City 30 years ago. For the past six months, Stephen lived at Care One in Jackson.
Mr. Mabil was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Helen Mabil; and by his sister, Carla Reid. Surviving are his loving wife of 31 years, Gerda Mabil; son, Michael J. Mabil and his wife, Lisa of Brick; daughter, Monika Wenger and her husband, Horst of Switzerland; 4 grandchildren, Kira, Melissa, Nathalie and Rebecca and her husband, Michel; as well as 5 great grandchildren, Jean, Anissa, Lisa, Elyana and Vincent.
A memorial service will be held 2pm on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Fellowship Chapel, 170 Duchess Lane, Brick. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of New Jersey, 400 Morris Ave, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834 would be greatly appreciated.
