Steven R. Ford Sr. 71 of Brielle, NJ died Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Crest Point Rehab and Healthcare, Pt. Pleasant, NJ. Born and raised in Orange, NJ, Steven lived in Maplewood, NJ before moving to Manasquan. He was a graduate of Our Lady of the Valley High School, Orange, NJ. He served in the US Marine Corps. Steven was a member of the Manasquan Elks, where he was an exalted ruler.  Steven worked as a postal agent with the US Postal Service in Secaucus and Manasquan until his retirement. He was a parishioner of St. Denis Church, Manasquan. 
Steven was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Ford, and his brother Leonard Joseph Ford. Surviving are his children, Kelly Mulvaney and her husband John, Steven R. Ford Jr. and his wife Lindsay, Casey Haus and her husband Jaan, and 3 grandchildren, Mary Catherine Mulvaney, John Mulvaney Jr and Mati Haus.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 4-8 pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 15, 2023, 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
