Obituary for Steven Nicholas Samich
Steven Nicholas Samich, 40, loving Son, Husband and Father of Basking Ridge and formerly of Maplewood passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his home.
Born in Livingston, he resided in Maplewood for many years before moving to Basking Ridge 11 years ago.
He was a graduate of Columbia High School and went on to receive his BA in Marketing and Journalism from Temple University. He was currently an Assistant Vice President for Aon Corporation.
Steven is survived by his adoring wife Lauren Samich (Price), his daughter Charlotte Olivia Samich, his parents Steven A. and Jacqueline Samich (Catalano) of Wall, his Aunt and Uncle Theresa and Frank Giordano of Staten Island, his loving cousins, his in-laws Sharon Price and Wallace Price, his sister in-law Erica Gable and her husband Bobby and his nephews Robert and Ryan.
Steven, or Steve as everyone knew him had a generous nature and remarkable sense of humor. He had the gift of making all those in his presence laugh with his jokes and incredible wit. Steve loved spending time with his family and adored his daughter Charlotte. He was a lover of classic comedies and all things WWE, Star Wars and music, especially Pearl Jam.
The family will receive close friends and relatives at the O’Brien Funeral Home, Wall Twp. on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Private committal will be at the convenience of the family.
