Thomas “Tom” George Dudek was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He left this world suddenly on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at age 65. Raised in Carteret, NJ, Mr. Dudek has resided in Brick for the past 5 years. Prior to his retirement, he was a Conductor for NJ Transit and spent many years working on fishing boats out of Belmar, NJ. He was a devoted NY Giants fan since the age of 5 years old and loved going fishing and spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his father, Matthew Dudek. Surviving is his mother, Dorothy Dudek of Carteret, NJ; his loving wife of 35 years, Sheryl (Sherri) Dudek of Brick; his children, Matthew Dudek and his wife, Jillian of Parker, CO, and Thomas Dudek II and his wife, Danielle of Forked River, NJ; sister, Karen Leech of Tobyhanna, PA; cherished grandchildren, Christian Dudek and Matthew Dudek; and his beloved aunt, Barbara Nartowicz.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 5 PM – 7 PM at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Rose Roman Catholic Church, 603 7th Ave, Belmar, NJ 07719. Committal will be private.
