Thomas J. Fittin, Jr. 82 of Wall, NJ died Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Meridian Nursing and Rehab., Ocean Grove, NJ. Born in Orange, NJ Thomas lived in Spring Lake for 35 years before moving to Wall. Thomas was a parishioner of St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake for over 50 years. His career spanned many interests but his proudest was being President and CEO of Fittin, Cunningham and Lauzon, Members of the New York Stock Exchange. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed his frequent family trips to Florida.
Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Thomas J. Fittin and Josephine K. Fittin. He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years Eileen Fittin, his 4 children, Colleen Brown and her husband William of Wall, NJ, Christine Martignetti and her husband Chet of Wall, Thomas J. Fittin III and his wife Sheree of Pt. Pleasant, NJ, and Kathleen Wood and her husband Al of Wall. He also leaves 13 grandchildren, Caitlin, Christina, Billy, Alyssa, Nicole, Michael, Gianna, Tara, Amanda, Cierra, Sean, Michaela, Caden. He is also survived by his former wife, Nancy Fittin of Wall.
Visiting will be Sunday, December 29, 2019, from 1-5 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Funeral Mass will be Monday, 10:30 AM at St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake, burial will follow in St. Catharine Cemetery, Wall.
